Note: The first three banners from the left are heraldry symbols from the Czech coat of arms: The black eagle bearing a silver clover stalk represents Silesia, the double tailed lion represents Bohemia, and the red and white checkered eagle represents Moravia. The last banner (far right) is the symbol of the Luxembourg coat of arms. Charles IV was from the House of Luxembourg and commissioned the building of the Charles Bridge.
