Signature of Frantisek Rint written with bones. Bone church, Sedlec, Czech Republic.
Frantisek Rint was the Czech woodcarver and the caretaker employed by the House of Schwarzenberg to organize the bones in the Sedlec Ossuary. He did much more than organize the remains and he created the macabre sculptures including the chandeliers and the bone coat of arms. He was born in Ceska Skalice, a small town near the border with Poland.
