Paro Dzongkhag, Bhutan
The small town of Paro lies on the western edge of Bhutan. It is home to the country's only airport, which is served only by Royal Druk Air, the nationaal airline. The town's main street was built in 1985. The town of Paro sits in the center of the Paro Valley. The valley boasts a number of beautiful sites, including the Paro Dzong, the Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), and the ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong. It is also home to the National Museum.
