Bixby Creek Bridge is an historic landmark and symbolizes the beauty of California's Big Sur Coast. The bridge was built in 1932 and is an arch bridge with open spandrel design. It was made from reinforced concrete and is 713 feet long by 24 feet wide. The bridge is a major stopping point for tourists driving along Highway 1.
