Gyeryongsan National Park is located in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. The park is named after Gyeryongsan mountain which is considered one of the most sacred mountains in Korea. As a result, the park is heavily visited by Shamanists and Buddhists in addition to hikers. Within the park are many cultural sites such as Donghaksa Buddhist Temple which was built in 724 by Priest Hoeui-hwasang during the Shilla Kingdom. It was later expanded by Priest Dosun-guksa during the Koryo Dynasty.
